MISSION

The Snowden Family Art Trust is a private cultural and legal entity. The mission of the Trust is to disseminate educational and scholarly information about the cultural contributions of Snowden fine art. The mission of the SFAT is to foster and promote, protect and defend, the intellectual and artistic oeuvres of artists M.L. Snowden and her father, G.H. Snowden.

 

HISTORY AND SCOPE

The Trust is the official legal designation created at the behest of sculptor George H. Snowden, Trustee Dr. James A. Hagel and Jack Snowden Hagel. The SFAT is responsible for maintaining the artistic estates of its family members. In this capacity, the Trust monitors the worldwide presence of Snowden sculpture, paintings and artifacts, and manages the archives and estate, which includes  M.L. Snowden’s oeuvre, the Geological Coreium.

 

CERTIFICATION AND AUTHENTICITY

The Trust maintains the legal registration of all limited editions. The Snowden Family Art Trust is the sole recognized authority that has the legal right to produce federally recognized certificates of authenticity. Thus, certificates issued by galleries, individuals, publishers and other entities other than the SFAT are invalid and considered illegal documents. The SFAT is the ultimate authority on authentication.
